Workshops and outreach projects. Flying
Emperor is more than just beautiful
products. Profits from the business
are put back into the local community
to support and showcase up-and-coming
artists and to provide creative workshops
in schools and youth centres. Emma
D’Souza was recently a workshop
tutor with Wildest Dreams in Kent.
This exciting initiative aims to develop
and encourage children’s creative
thinking and expression through music,writing,
visual arts, technology and dance.
Emma was part of an inspirational
team including a choreographer, an
actor, and three musicians. The participating
children were encouraged to explore
the natural environment and to create
works of art, collage, abstract impressions,
sculpture, poems turned into songs,
and musical pieces inspired by nature.
